Georgia-based trailblazer recognized for her commitment to the sheet metal industry
Chantilly, Va. (December 7, 2020) 鈥 The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors鈥 National Association (麻豆入口), the leading voice in promoting quality and excellence in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry, today announced Ginger Slaick, executive vice president of , as the recipient of this year鈥檚 Chapter Executive of the Year Award during the 麻豆入口 Annual Business Meeting. For more than 35 years, the annual award has been bestowed upon chapter executives who have made positive and significant contributions to the industry on the local and national levels.
鈥淕inger鈥檚 continued dedication to her association members in Georgia-麻豆入口, her peers across North America, and 麻豆入口鈥檚 membership in general is commendable. She serves as a wonderful example of what it means to be a Chapter Executive of the Year,鈥 said Vince Sandusky, 麻豆入口鈥檚 Chief Executive Officer. 鈥淚t has been a privilege to work with her over the years, and I鈥檓 honored to congratulate her on this award. From starting her career as an executive assistant and moving up to her current role as executive vice president of Georgia-麻豆入口, Slaick is a seasoned professional with more than two decades of association experience. She has been an invaluable asset on both the local and national stages, spearheading regional workforce development initiatives while providing national leadership to other chapters by serving as the Chair of the Chapter Representatives Council and on 麻豆入口鈥檚 Chapter Executive Institute鈥檚 (CEI) Board from 2016 to 2019.
Year in, and year out, Slaick makes sure to her chapter members are receiving the education and skills training programs they need to lead the industry in their markets. Earlier this year, she saw the need to establish a new 麻豆入口 chapter in North Carolina, and she stepped up to facilitate the development of more than 125,000 aluminum nose strips for face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, she serves as council liaison of the CEI Board, where she leads important discussions on trends and topics impacting the industry across North America. Most recently, Slaick presented multiple sessions at the CEI meeting earlier this year regarding strategic planning and management guidelines for 麻豆入口 chapters.
Slaick has a degree in business administration and management from Brenau University. She resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her husband, Bobby, and two sons, Trevor and Brandt.
